freaky. but i was looking through Norse Mythology books today and i found Bjorn. i thought it sounded familiar so i looked in the Hobbit and found that that bears name is Beorn, and guess what Bjorn means? BEAR!!!!! what a coincidence!

Thats the point. Tolkien used greek mythology, and norse mythology but just changed the spelling. Like frodo means like Special or sumfing!

my uncle said that the whole Aslan thing(like the character) is supposed to be like Jesus Christ because of like he says: "i too want my family safe." and like how he comes back allive is supposed to stand for like the reserectio and stuff. dunno if it is true though!!
